Wow some these players are rated well. With talent like this in a Waiver Draft why bother with collecting Picks?

Agreed. I believe in charity, but a handful of these guys are like Top 10 or better 1st rounders. Ohh well, I suppose it's cool to get the NCAA guys into the mix and I don't have a better idea for how that'd get done*

At least you and I will get a solid 68-69 overall guy, Tom! :?

Aren't some of these players still draft eligible for the next NHL draft?

The articles I was looking at stated they were all undrafted free agents, or drafted players who hadnt signed with their respective teams.
Hagelin - MacKinnon - Virtanen
Fabbri - Barkov - Paajarvi
Haula - Draisaitl - Vecchione
Kerdiles - Gagner - Tuch

Pietrangelo - Morin
Murray - Jones
Provorov - Werenski

Holtby
Demko

I know for sure Hintz and Gavrikov are eligible still, and Godla and Baillie I believe are as well.

I am up to pick but I'm going to wait until this gets sorted out seeing as Hintz was picked first and he is a draft eligible player still.

Regardless of if they are draft eligible (which needs sorting, otherwise draft picks will be worth even less) why are they rated sooooooo high?

As previously stated the top 15 guys on the list are better than most 5 top guys in our drafts. Jax sort it out! Haha

Also why we doing this anyway?

Matt O'Connor should be rated lower for all the soft goals he allowed in the frozen four

Because the league is getting older and it needs more good youth. Who wouldn't want a league with more tradable assets?

The list is final, draft eligible or not, there's still plenty of people to include in the drafts. Sorry for the goof, we'll all just have to live with it.

I don't see a problem with that at all, especially since our entry drafts are only two rounds long. The more young talent available, the better.

Will we also do something about all of the guys who made their NHL debuts this season who aren't in the sim?

Harry - We should come up with a rule that suspensions players of teams of those who don't pick right away...

If there is someone to blame, its me. I gave the list to Jax, and perhaps the article wasnt accurate, but I gave him a list of guys to help bring in more talent.

I think people need to calm down a bit. Every team is probably going to get a solid young player added to their roster. Be thankful for that. It took a lot of time for me to put the list together for Jax, and I'm sure it took him a lot of time to create all the players.

Ha, I have a better idea. If it takes more than a day to get a selection in, then Raffi gets to manage your team for a 24 hour period. Now that would be real punishment.

I agree! We're basically having a chance to add a young player to our team (for me that's awesome). Keep doing what you guys are doing.

I agree. Many teams could use a solid young player to their team.
